This course is aimed at teaching how to do the best studio recording with the most appropriate microphone.
About the Trainer: Andreas Ederhof has been a freelance Sound-Engineer for 20 years. Andreas’ main field is microphone techniques for music production. His specialty is picking up sound and recording a live orchestra and choir. His reputation in this field comes from 5 years as a Producer with KLASSIK RADIO, Germany. Andreas has also worked in the LOOKING GLASS STUDIO (Philip Glass) in NYC. Andreas has written a textbook on microphones: “Das Mikrofonbuch“ published by Carstensen Verlag, Munich, Germany. He also writes articles about Sound Engineering in German magazines as “Soundcheck“ where he reviews the latest equipment and newest techniques in the field.
