Digital Filmmaking – Irbid Film Club: The Digital Filmmaking workshop aims to develop the skills of the participants in scriptwriting, production, shooting, lighting, audio recording, and editing for Short Fiction. It also helps them learn how to be more professional and artistic when working on DV and HD cameras, using the tripod, and the ability to work on advanced post-production software.
The workshop aims at enhancing participants' capabilities and skills, and enrich their experience on how to write a story, make it visual and direct it, how to work within teams on set, and how to take decisions. Participants edited their projects themselves.
PGA Workshop: a one month workshop held in partnership with the Producers Guild of America (PGA), being held for the third year. “The Power of Diversity”, instructed by PGA member Charles Howard, has been designed to foster the creative development of diverse voices in Narrative and Documentary filmmaking.
Short Films Lab Editing: A 5 days workshop (9th-13th of September) aimed at introducing the participants to the art of editing and providing them with a theoretical background about it, as well as hands-on training on AVID Media Composer software.
Safety on Set: A one day workshop (14th of September), aimed at helping participants master their film sets, while meeting the highest standards os saftey.
Short Films Lab Directing, Producing and Cinematography: 3 overlapping workshops in directing, producing and cinematography. These three workshops were an extension to a writing workshop, and are to be followed by an Editing workshop.
10th DFM Amman Workshop: A 28 days workshop that targets emerging and potential filmmakers in Jordan and aims at helping them advance their filmmaking skills. The program covers the disciplines of scriptwriting, directing, producing, cinematography, sound and editing.

Filmmakers’ Forum Sessions: An intensive 2-session workshop aimed at providing filmmakers with the opportunity to bring in past or ongoing film projects for peer review and critique according to the range of directorial choices within mise-en-scène, cinematography, editing, and sound design.
The Art of Scriptwriting Workshop: A 6 days (18th to 24th of May) targetting mateur writers and filmmakers interested in scriptwriting.
Um Sayhoun Kids Workshop: A three days filmmaking workshop targetting children 9-13 years of age. The workshop covered the basics of filmmaking, allowing the kids to act and shoot some scenes using mobiles and playing different roles, also interviewing the kids in order to make a video about their views of Um Sayhoun and their lives there.
Music Placement Analysis for Filmmakers Workshop: An intensive three sessions workshop conducted by Professor David Melbye from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.
Project Market Amman: A project introducing the Film Prize of the Bosch Stiftung for international cooperation Germany/Arab.
