What or who does
international justice serve? In 2012, a historic trial began in The
Hague, that of General Ratko Mladić, who led the siege of Sarajevo
and the massacre in Srebrenica.
For five years, the two
filmmakers did a huge job editing hundreds of hours of footage
giving voice to the victims but also to the lawyers of Mladić and
his relatives.
The film has won several
awards including Best Documentary at ASN World Convention Festival
in NYC, 3rd Prize in the category Best European TV Documentary of
the Year 2019, Broadcast Prize from RAI3 at PriMed 2019.
It was screened at several
film festivals including: IDFA - International Documentary Film
Festival Amsterdam, Göteborg Film Festival, Human Rights Watch Film
Festival London, Dok Fest Munich, HOT DOCS, CPH: DOX CPH:DOX
