Four Yemeni
women living in the diaspora are asked: what does it mean to come
home? They were outside of Yemen when the war erupted. Five years
later, they remain unable to return, each for her own reasons. The
footage of a drive through Sana’a in a busy afternoon was made in
winter 2018 by the filmmaker himself who, at the time, has managed
to return home after four years abroad.

Osama is a
creative inventor from Yemen, full of dreams and ideas for
transforming them into reality. However, when the war breaks out,
his plans and the possibilities they promised fade away, replaced by
episodes of gunfire. One day, distant and near sounds of air strikes
mixed with feelings of loss, rage, entrapment, and desperation force
him to have yet one more dream that will allow him to escape his
reality. |
